There is this video of him in his suite at the (I think) Shangrila in Shanghai & they bring him a breakfast tray for him & his wife to sample. They seem to have no idea what anything is or how to eat it and he grabs a 油條 and slathers it with jam. It was quite something. I kind of felt like someone had deliberately sabotaged him cos it was a bit weird that no one walked them through the food …
